Introduction:

Marte Vold is a 38-year-old mother of two who lives in Oslo, Norway. Jéro Yun is 35 years old and lives alone with his cat in Seoul. Jéro's visit to his parents, whom he hasn't seen for a long time, marks the start of a year-long correspondence between the two filmmakers. They exchange videos and thoughts from their everyday life. Jéro's mother's health is getting worse, and suddenly questions about family, maternity, time and memories become urgent for both Jéro and Marte. What does it mean to be a mother and a child in two different cultures?
