Introduction:

Four Springs is a documentary about family life made in Dushan, a small town in the south of Guizhou province. From the subjective aspect, it captures scenes of daily life: working, singing, sightseeing, visiting relatives and friends, funeral, reunion and parting. The film has demonstrated two characters—the living state of the director’s parents and how they face irreparable losses in life.
